Description

Crank arms, spider and chainrings – the Afterburner has been completely redesigned for higher performance than ever. Those svelte new arms are hollow-forged from tough aluminum and clamp to a 24mm or 30mm chromoly spindle for the ultimate rough-trail strength. Chainring bolts are also chromoly, while clever design of the non-driveside arm eliminates the weak point of a pinchbolt. The outer chainring is CNC-machined from hard-wearing 7075 aluminum, while the middle and inner are stamped from the same lightweight material. Overall weight is just 803g. The 11-speed Afterburner is available as a double in seven gearing options to cover every wheelsize and use. The sandblasted matte finish combines with polished highlights and sections of beautiful aluminium to exude a monolithic energy that belies its low weight. Subtle logos only enhance the look. Laser etching means the graphics last, too, whatever the weather throws at them.
